Using a Looper to Practice Guitar - Composing and Layering Techniques

I'd like to show you the incredible possibilities of using a looper. With this powerful tool, you can enhance your guitar skills in multiple ways simultaneously.
I love the looper for guitar practice! It's a versatile tool that allows you to work on multiple aspects at once.
In this video, I show you how I use it to compose my own backing track. Starting with a simple chord progression, I layer chords and add a bass track using a boss octave pedal emulation. Then I spice it up with CAGED chord shapes and arpeggios. Finally, I add another layer of CAGED chords higher up the neck. Now I have a cool backing track to jam along with and it is a great way to reinforce your CAGED shapes!
You will also learn a valuable tip on looping technique, where the loop pedal becomes an extension of your strumming hand. Immerse yourself in the enchanting layers of sound as we build upon each loop.

Thanks for watching. Getting the loop timing right can be tricky. Most people jump the gun and push the foot switch early on the way out. Getting used to hitting it right on beat one of the next bar is really the trick.
