The No.1 Panoram Kodak Is a wondaful 6x18cm Medium Format camera. The original would have used 105 film, however 120 film fits just fine. Film Frame numbers are 2-6-10-14 / senpaiskyy www.flickr.com... / socialmocracy

Wow, the photos look quite sharp for such an old camera.

Thank you 😊. Yeah I was very surprised when i developed my first roll. The camera really does a great job for being uncoated and only a single element meniscus lens.

Damn that's a nice house completely off grid from the video

Funny enough I was trying to get my hands on a No.4 Panoram just before this video came out. Nice to see some results though because there isnt much info on these online

@@ClementinesCoins I just ordered a No.4. I will be doing the same thing to it as I did with the AL-Vista 3B. But I’ll have to make my own spools. So I’ll be doing a video on making spools repairing the bellows cutting film and making backing paper for the 103 size film.

@@Socialmocracy Nice one mate, Cant wait to see the process, I have the same plan, got about 500ft of aviphot on the way specifically for respooling to 122 & 103 roll film. Wouldnt mind getting a look at any plans you make for the backing paper and spool when you make them!

@@ClementinesCoins I did a test over the weekend and had some black completely opaque results. I working on 122 as well as the 103, and 104. Finally got a AL-Vista 5 inch.

@@Socialmocracy Awesome mate, cant wait to see more! Unfortunately Al Vista's are way out of my price range so ill have to stick to kodak panorams for now!

Awesome little camera, now I want one even though I just bought a 617 attachment for my 4x5 😂
@Socialmocracy3 ай бұрын
@@craynotcreigh They are fun little cameras for sure. Some are even cheaper than the 617 backs.
@craynotcreigh3 ай бұрын
@@Socialmocracy Much cheaper from the look of it! I'm seeing 250-400 for one of these compared to $800 for the 617 back. I wonder if I can still return it LOL
@Socialmocracy3 ай бұрын
@@craynotcreigh well at least with the back you can use newer glass. This camera you can’t change the lens. It does make a lager image than the 617 back at 618cm.

Great shots! I'm a sucker for panoramas and it kills me that the likes of xpan are so damn expensive. I really should build something myself. Just finished a roll in an Agfa Box with 35mm adapter. It was a bit of a last minute setup, with electrical tape as a mask on the viewfinder, making it even harder to see anything. Somewhat a crapshoot, but we'll see how it went :D

@@vonantero9458 One of my favorite things to do is “Will it panoramic?” I have done that with Zeiss ikon 6x9s and old 616 cameras large format. Hell if you got the cash you can do a Texpan with a Fuji 6x9. So many things to get started with different panoramic formats. If you have a 3D printer i believe on printables there is a project for 6x12, 6x17, 6x24. I have a 6x24 from that project.

Nice little video I have the model 3.And I was able to get one twenty adapters. Maybe you can get them for your model four They are definitely fum to shoot
@SocialmocracyАй бұрын
@@thomasboone1356 I got so much of the Agfa that I’ll probably just make some full sized spools and film. I think it’s something like 3.75” x 12” so a really big negative.

I'm refurbishing a Panoram No.1 and your video on making bellows for the AI Vista was super helpful. Thanks for that! Do you recall the model of the bubble level you bought from McMaster?
@SocialmocracyАй бұрын
Awesome! I am very happy you found it useful. I'm planning to create a video about a Panoram Kodak No.4. My camera needs a new set of bellows as well. The McMaster's part number for the bubble level is "22325A12." Also, I recently got a full goat skin that appears to be completely opaque. It even blocks infrared (IR) light, which is impressive because some of the other skins I tested didn't block IR light.

I can see a Panoram size hole appearing in my bank account some day soon.
