This week's Tableau Tip Tuesday shows you how to use a set to act like a relative date filter. This is particularly effective when your data is not always current. Blog post: vizwiz.blogspot.com/2015/01/re...

Hello Andy.I need to show that order created date for 2 years ( Fiscal years) where my fiscal year starts in November thru October .So I need to show total sales for FY 2018 and FY 2019 and the order created is 0 to 3 months prior to order close date.So for FY2018( NOvember 2017,Dec 2017,Jan 2018,etc...) I need to show total sales from 11/1/2017 to 10/31/2018 that will be FY2018 and the order placed date is September, October, November, December.I need to create this report each month for previous month ( so orders created in from sept to dec) . Order created needs to be total 4 months but 1 month before current month. Can u please assist?

I have a date and order ID in sheet 1. And the date format is MM/DD/YYY. In sheet 2 I want to have the views of the Orders (and the order date should be of same format). Now if i drag the views the orders come from ascending/descending. I want to get them in that date format that i have in sheet 1? is it possible to achive this without dragging the date column

Why not just use max(orderDate) and anchor to that?

im trying to do the opposite. I want to pick a day from a list and it shows the last 90 days from the date that I pick. any thoughts?

Populate the date you choose into a parameter with a parameter action. Then create a calc that checks if the dates are within 90 days of that date, then add that as a filter.
