Very cool! I had a friend use simething similar to this, possibly a Helicoil for stripped headstud threads on a K24 block. Always thought these were neat, but definitely fear ever having to use em!

i used a helicoil on mine but when i screwed the botl in it was still shifting and idk if i should just gun it and tighten it or if i need to try and fix it further.

Nope. This original D15 is now running strong with 221K and still getting 40+ MPG.

Thank you for the video! I would have liked to see the drill type and method you used to drill the hole. Im currently in a predicament where i need to do something similar and have very little space to do it. This is why yhe drill equipment you used would have been helpful to see.
