Here's what you should do : to make the joycons work on the emulator, make sure you configure the controller settings on the dolphin emulator, and then set the buttons on the joycons as wii buttons are configured afterwards go to the graphics settings then make everything minimum settings and I guess that might work !

Tips to make it work: 1) You can download Linux inside the hacked switch, it works better with emulator. 2)Change the settings from the application, there are many videos explaining how to improve the quality 3) through the settings you can configure the joycons so you can use them in the emulator... Have you tweaked drivers and stuff yet. looks like everything might've just been left to default settings which is not ideal for performance atall, I'd change the video backend. And don't use the play store version, use the latest apk

Yeah I can believe that a Wii emulator on a Nintendo Switch will not work because a console like a Switch isn't made for emulating I will never use emulators on my consoles because i'm afraid that they would break a whole console, but it's interesting to see how a Wii emulator even works on a Switch WOW! 😮

I think youre not even utilizing the NVIDIA GPU inside the Nintendo Switch with your method. I think Linux would be better for this because it has nvidia drivers, but i dont know if for this particular chip (Nvidia Tegra X1)

Bro try using Android 10, it's WAAAAAY faster, or if you want the Best performance, just use Linux, it's even faster, i have Linux on my switch (Specifically Kubuntu, a versión of Ubuntu that uses the KDE Plasma desktop environment wich looks more like windows instead of the Gnome desktop environment wich comes installed in normal Ubuntu) with dolphin installed, some tracks like Moo Moo Meadows on Mario Kart Wii run at around 50 FPS on docked mode without overclocking, even Gamecube games like Super Monkey Ball usually run at full speed on handheld mode if you know how to configurate Dolphin correctly.

@MylesThePro Windows would run horribly on the switch since Windows uses much more RAM than Linux, Steam OS wont work for the switch as the switch architecture is not compatible with it, and i wouldnt recommend installing any distro that isnt on the switchroot project.

​@@teedleyt By the way, since you are trying to emulate every console possible, you need to know that almost every emulator works best on Linux, but there is an exception, for Nintendo DS, the best emulator that you can get is drastic on Android, since Linux doesnt have a DS emulator as good and fast as that one.

There is a much better way to do this than the video suggests imo. By running L4T Ubuntu Linux then setting the mode to “Perfect OC All” (This overclocks ur switch, which is still safe because Nintendo purposefully underclocked it for battery purposes and other stuff), then downloading Dolphin there you can run most GameCube games smoothly. Most games I’ve tested reliably run at 60 FPS (NSMBW, Rhythm Heaven for example) while some will fluctuate between 40-60 (MKWII, Wii Sports, Wii Party).
