Using AI in Academic Writing/ Is it ok?

AI can help with processing information that can be used in writing an essay. It can be used to generate ideas, outlines as well as titles for essays. However, there are some things that you will need to avoid when using AI tools.

Asking for an outline for an essay for a certain topic can be helpful in writing an essay.

AI is not the best grammar tool for grammar checking. It will often suggest the use of comma splices to make sentences easier to read, and it justifies its argument by saying that authors can make a stylistic choice when it comes to grammar. I notice that AI often gets phrases and clauses confused. There is no substitute for learning to properly diagram a sentence. Once you become good at it, you will soon learn that a lot of AI tools are garbage.

Thank you for your comment. This is another reason to only use AI tools as a “tool” and that you need to write your own essay.

Try searching “heat stress “ on the internet. You should find categories such as: symptoms of heat stress,5 stages of heat stress, causes of heat stress, etc. You can use these ideas to do research about the influence of heat stress.
