Using an Airbrush for the First Time

Awesome, I just got an airbrush my self too. Just got it the other day. I have yet to use it. But I can’t wait!

I just run lacquer thinner or paint thinner depending on the paint I am using the paint cup or jar till the paint is run through and I get a clear stream. The only time I dissemble the gun if I use a heavy paint or a more thorough cleaning is needed. I own about 7 guns. Anything from a binks to a badger to the one you use

I've tried just running thinner through it, but I find paint tends to build up and eventually clogs the mechanism. I usually end up taking it apart and cleaning it after each painting session. Sometimes I do just run thinner through between colors, though.

That's fair. I still find myself using rattle cans a lot. Different tools for different jobs.

It's a tourist railroad. The freight cars aren't in active use. I might move some of them out soon to make room for more passenger cars.
