The Line Mini R Brew-By-Weight will show the target weight on the left. While with the current version of the Linea Mini will display a timer. With now over a few hundred shots in, it never ever hits the target weight (Reset, recalibrated, unpair repair did not seem to fix it, with a few error codes here and there ). It's always about 2 -3 grams off. Any tips on how to get it closer to the target?

Maybe the shot too fast? Take care of unleveled surfaces, vibration and magnetic fields.

Thanks , after updating Grinder, it became apparent that it was the grind that was way off contribution to a slightly faster than expected flow . Now it is barely off .

I had the same issue too! The coarse faster flow rate will not auto stop on the brew by weight unfortunately…. You really have to get the grind size and ratio right including tamp force and WDT distributing the ground evenly and clumps free. Then put on the puck screen. I now can get it to stop on its own every shot! But when switching to another bean type. I will need to redial and test every shot to get the dial correct until the scale can stop the shot by itself!

The Micra is not equip with the brew-by-weight feature, but it's doable with DIY, there-s a video on youtube explaining it

I think, most of all this feature comes well into play in commercial setups (imagine a catering event or a farmers market for example). Here distractions are much more common and under these circumstances the Brew-by-weight-feature makes sense to me. Different Story for me when brewing at home: in this case I think you are 100% right.

I thought with a £4.5k machine you’d include a scale at least… and a better quality tamper…. :(
