say your work is 5 miles to the north of where you live. You hop on a bus that has to go 30 miles south before it turns around to head north-that's a long trip. You need to make a counter bus route on the other side of the street-easiest thing to do is delete your current bus route, put bus stops on the opposite side of the street. Then create a bus line on the right side of the streets until you get to the end, and loop around to the other sides of the roads. At first it will only go one direction but over time, there will be enough bus distribution to service both sides of the street at the same time. Hope that made sense-still waiting for KZbin to let you draw diagrams in the comments-but lets face it-people would just draw weenies if they gave us that option 😁

For your subway, you only need to connect 1 track (the one closest to the road. You also want all of them to be double tracks. Re: the issue of “underwater” it’s because it tunnels it like it does for roads. Get underground before the water. Also you only need to be -20m underground to connect.

If you go in advanced settings you can remove tarrain shadow, then you see tunnels and such much better. 👍

For your buses, there’s a mod that allows you to increase the # of buses on a line. I forget what it’s called but if you search PDX mods you’ll find it!

👍🏻 It would be cool to see an episode dedicated to trying to get some signature buildings, then making cool custom areas or builds for them. Such as the European shopping mall, some more mansions like you did before, or other large industrial buildings.
