It worked! You are a genius! Amazing video buddy! I spent 2 hours online searching and YES! Everyone said you need one of those damn interface boxes. You sure proved them wrong. However, with the box you do get variety of sounds the keyboard has to offer, but at least you know you are paying the box for variety of sounds. Some people just need to record something very simple, don't need any fancy sounds. This video would be perfect!

USB midi devices don't need audio interfaces. They are built in. You can also buy a Roland USB midi interface for non-usb midi controllers for like $20.

I have a M-audio m-track solo audio interface and cts300. Whenever i connect them, the tones have a muffled sound except for the Tone 1: StereoGrPiano. Rest all the other tones have a echoing muffled sound. How do I fix this issue?

Hi I have the Casio Privia PX-5S connected to my Mac computer with Logic Pro. it all works outside the pedals of my Casio which do not respond at all when I have the usb connected to my computer. Otherwise, the pedals work perfectly. I checked the USB in the settings. USB is on. I can't play without pedals...Do you know how to solve the problem? Thanks in advance for your time and reply.

to be honest I am not sure bc I never had ct s100 but cts 200 is only 15 dollar more than cts100 you should get cts200 which has way more functionality and its better

@@Royalsoft_ Thanks for the tip, I ordered the CT-S200 instead. I was on a budget but my parents had pardoned me for the 15 dollar extra charge. CT-S100 was kinda the alpha version of the other two models. I will be receiving the CT-S200 in 3 days. I hope it is as good enough as mentioned, for beginners who are so eagerly dedicated into music making.

depends on your motherboard if you have a good motherboard that can process the sound good without audio interface then yes. usually most gaming PC's are capable of doing this

Thank you There is two way if you use casio sound machine then yes this way u need both midi and aux cable but if you just use midi and pc sound card then just transpose from daw

I don't have a speaker to plug anything in to. I only have my laptop and the keyboard. When I plugged in my keyboard there was no indication of any sort of connection being made. Am I not using the right cable? In every video I have seen, this is far as I have been able to get, but nothing is working.

You only can use a laptop if you have both mic and headphobe jack on it

@@Royalsoft_ What do you mean by that? My laptop has a headphone jack and built-in mic. I don't have any sort of monitor like you do, I only have the laptop. I have seen plenty of others use a USB connection straight from the keyboard to a laptop, but it is not working for me.

What software you want use? The usb is only for midi the two cables i use is to record the internal audio. However you can also use the midi (that usb cable) but then the sound is generated by your laptop and not that great but still works

That's midi recording, NOT audio recording. It's not using the sounds from the Casiotone, only receiving the MIDI instructions sent from Casiotone and using the sounds from the software you have on your pc. You should change the title of your video, it generates false expectations.
