Gorgeous Julie, I did not know you can use gesso and inktense in Hannah books. This reduce time in covering the tooth paper. Thanks for sharing. Merry Christmas

Gesso works incredibly well using watercolor pencils. I use it all of the time. My projects come out like painted canvas.

Thanks for the info on the gesso and especially using Inktense pencils. It's too bad we don't see them used more. They layer beautifully if you use very little water and dry well.

Hello Julie ..... merci pour cette vidéo 👍..... tu sais qu'après l'application du gesso blanc ou transparent ou que tu as coloré selon tes besoins , il faut toujours poncer avec du papier de verre très fin , au moins du 180 , pour avoir un beau rendu bien lisse , même si au toucher ta page te paraît douce .... effectivement l'utilisation du gesso transparent permet de renforcer les pages des albums au papier très moyen 😉 Encore merci pour toutes tes vidéos que je regarde avec plaisir .... cordialement..... Hello! I saw even inktense pigment lift/reactivate with water when on top of gesso. Can you confirm if it reactivates or not when used on gesso?

Once dry it’s permanent Also on gesso … long time ago I did this but I guess permanent is permanent…
