Codepen is also very nice for hosting css or js externally, since Webflow allows only 20000 characters of custom code and, for example, some js plugins are much longer than that.

how do you host externally?? im trying to find this to save time so that I don't need to republish every change i make.

Since you're talking about re-using the code already built by other dev, I think you should have talked about License. Every Pens are under MIT License which mean you HAVE to include the same license. Little tip for people that are unaware ! blog.codepen.io/legal/licensing/

Good video sir, I “like” and organize many of my coded design favorites from the CodePen community. Have a look at the Tailwind.css community as well 👍

I have a client who is demanding that the website we create is on wordpress and is not open to a better solution. Can you do a video on if a client of yours demands that it isn't created via webflow, but a system of there choice and how you go about this?
@Aqsa7925 жыл бұрын
Its in everyone's best interest that you tell the client to contact another developer. You pretending to know how wordpress works or just winging it might damage your image + damage the client as well, in terms of time & money. It really isnt a good practice to try to force our own opinions/styles/choices on a client, unless the client's choice/opinion will be bad for them. Good luck with your client :)

I know how wordpress works and can develop in it. I just think it falls short in todays choices (personally preference is nuxt + contentful) especially when they want wordpress to be able to alter the full design, when they feel like. I think i'll reject it as don't want to put my name to something when they want to potential mess up the original design.

Take a look at the Udesly Adapter. Its very easy to export webflow to Wordpress. Maybe it’s something handy for you:)
