Awesome video! You're the first person to show the turning the marker method. I prefer this because this method doesn't ruin the tip. And yes, it does take a lot of practice to do it well

Yes, I don't understand how people do it without turning the tip and not squashing the tip flat.

Oh yes I do use these Markers like brush pens! One of my favourite hobbies! Coz these are the only pens that are borrow-able by me and my kid!

Your explanations are so helpful. I love your writing style. I just started doing this recently. I've been making watercolor greeting cards for a long time (just for family and friends) and thought it was about time the inside of the card looked good, too. I practice with crayolas (dollar store equivalent) every day. I only use the good brands for the actual card.

You are a great teacher! Super helpful. I am a beginner and purchased the supertips a few months ago to practice my strokes using your templates. I am concerned though about building up the wrong muscle memory because(as you pointed out) you do not hold the pen the same as a tombow.

Another great soothing video! I wish you could soothe me to sleep at night! Lol My husband might find that awkward though🥴 Can you recommend a pen for rocks? I use posca and Artooli paint pens now. Thank you!
@kellycreates

Lots of paint pens are good for rocks. Even Sharpies work. Or other brands of paint pens like Molotow.

I have a cheaper set of markers with tips that resemble the Crayola markers. I bought them from a very well-known Swedish multi-store, I am not quite sure if it is considered an advertisement to write down the full brand. Anyway, I am super pleased with the results of some markers. The strange thing is, some colours seem to have worst tips than other colours. It beats me completely, I don't know why, maybe the pigment makes the tip harder or softer, I don't know really. I am very pleased with the Tombows I have but my writing with the longer tip is a nightmare. I seem to do well on the cheap marker side. Tombows don't like me much lol Thank you very much for the useful tutorial!🎨🙏🏻👍🏻🌈📜

I actually think the tips are softer because of some pigments, especially black. And I will be teaching in Sweden in early December 2019!

Hi i have the supertips as i think that the tip makes it easier for thin lines, but one question is when putting pressure on the tip, would it damage it

Hi, I'm a beginner, and I think I don't understand how you create more pressure with crayola markers. I find them very hard. Also, my first ever brush pen was a Marvy Le Plume II, let me just ask, why can the brush tip easily be removed from the pen? I find this scary because I feel like it may dry the ink, the thought of it being removable, there may be a hole through the place where the ink is stored, and I'm afraid it may dry out. Please help. Edit: Also, you're awesome.

Hi, basically you just push down hard on the Crayola tip to made a wider thick stroke. They are hard. They aren't brush pens. The Marvy Le Plume II shouldn't have a loose nib. If so, then contact Marvy Uchida.

@s7121n9s
@s7121n9s 5 жыл бұрын
@@chelseachen5630 it all has to do with the pressure. You may be using the same amount of pressure with the up and down strokes if they are the same. Light pressure up, heavy pressures down
