Getting in and out of a car with crutches can be done with a few easy tips! Maneuvering with crutches takes practice just like everything else!

How do you get in a pickup with crutches and no weight bearing?

So, couldn't you just back the car in? That way gravity pulls the door open for you, instead of closed.

Was just thinking you can't weight bear on your bad leg but you can put pressure on the accelerator?!! But then I remembered your probably in an American car and your a passenger. Phew 🙄😉

Luke Lawley yes! You are correct. I’m in Canada actually and it was hard not to drive but hard enough to get in and out of a car as a passenger!

@@RobinMcFadyen yes, well I'm going to the outlaws for Christmas and I'm not looking forward to it either. Our car is pretty low and the driveway is narrow because us Brits have only got little houses, most of us. ..and I've got a big cage on my leg! So it's all fun and games! I might put some tinsel on it. Get in the mood.

Luke Lawley well I’m all good but I’m actually at the hospital right now waiting for my mother in law to be discharged after her ankle replacement surgery 🙄.
