These tips and tricks are golden and much needed for day to day job in PowerBI. I had to figure out most of "tricks" like the one in the video by myseft in order to get exactly what my clients need. However, nothing could ne possible if I weren't to pick up "Definitve guide to DAX" and bite it hard. That book is super hard, but a super masterpiece. Thanks for everything!

Thank you, Alberto! Using a measure to define the y range is very useful and I have used in the past not only for chart comparison but also because PBI's calculation of the y range sometimes leaves the topmost data (or total) label in a bad position. So, I calculate the value and add 10 or 20% to it thus leaving more space for the label. However, I had never done it for a dynamic comparison as in your last example. And this proves to me that I always profit from watching your lessons. Thanks again!

Thank you so much for this gem! Now I have the same example 03 with a slight (or big) difference. Instead of 1 filter per graph, I have about at least 5 filters (country, year, quarter, month, ... etc). It seems to me that doing the solution for Example 3 adds a lot of background work (and clutter) that I am not a fan of. Is there an easier way to achieve the same thing with such many filters?

Very nice. Do you have a way of controlling the Y axis depending on the drill level. Say I want to be able to set the Y axis range to one value when the visual is displaying Years and another if I drill down to Months

Nice! What about the X axis ? say I have a year and a month slicers and when I want to see the full year X axis is months and if I select both slicers year and months X axis is days

One question, though. I was able to obtain basically same results by using USERELATIONSHIP instead of using TREATAS pattern. That pattern with USERELATIONSHIP proves to be useful when you need, for example, to compare sales amount for two years user selects in slicers in same matrix. Is there a downside using USERELATIONSHIP instead of TREATAS?

If you create the underlying relationships (as inactive ones) yes, it's the same. For a small number of unique values (as it is the case of brands) there are no performance differences, the USERELATIONSHIP solution is faster if the cardinality is bigger (e.g. thousands or more).
