I'll never forget my first time being a cannibal in Dayz I spawned in and immediately a guy with a can in his hand tried to ko me but I juked him using a funny trick I learned, until he gave up then we teamed up until I could get away from him (guy with an smg shot at us and I broke off) Later a dude with a shotgun tried to kill me from inside a building but didn't push out to get me, then a guy with a knife chased me and I bum rushed it to the shotgun guy's building and ran in with the knife guy behind me and out the other side, I heard a bang and my pursuer was no more, at this point I was starving and I met a friendly east Indian guy wearing a helmet as I told him I couldn't hear him speaking because of the helmet as he was taking off his helmet I saw some guy peek around the corner behind him the second the helmet was off POW! the guy by the corner shot him dead. I ran around behind a concrete wall before he could shoot me too and laid down, he ran right past me I got up got a knife from the east Indian guy, used it to collect his meat and left, not five minutes later I had a nice little cookout by a gas station and left with a lasting memory of the most intense fresh spawn day ever.

I’m new to Dayz , got about 60 hours, I’m just beginning to get a feel for it and how to “somewhat” survive. I’m understanding how to craft, and what loot/gear is good and worth swapping or keeping, etc etc. now that im getting some traction the cannibal path seems more and more appealing to me, that’s what I love about this game, the land is relentless and you can play however you want. We'd always take everything they had, fit it all into a bag or ruin it. Leave em tied up with absolutely nothing and dump a bag over their head with a phrase along the lines of "you've been rescued, your heroes have now made your day a lot worse have fun".
