Great to see you jumping on the H7 tutorials so soon! Many thanks. I'm really interested in creating vstsound libraries to share with community, any chance you could dive into that at some point? The terminology and reasons for doing certain actions is confusing and was thinking of assembling something myself to break it all down. Also, had hopes of creating a patch sharing resource as HALion just seems like it goes forgotten by many. However, without the dongle, and the demo coming out soon - it feels like an iron is hot moment.

Ah, that'll be bloff :) Thick & meaty sound. I just Googled the word, and it came back blank. Absolutely staggered. I wonder if I made up this word years ago, and forgot. Always just presumed everyone knew what I was talking about!

In terms of the clipping? Does it make any difference if you are using 32-bit float signal? And in general: is there a way within Halion of doing Loudness Normalization; in contrast to the old style normalize? (Which always seems to come off too loud for my purposes.)

There are various places where Halion can normalize - at the individual sample level (it's one of the buttons in the sample editor) and at the velocity level for envelopes. The wavetable processor can even normalise every wave in its wavetable... I think Halion could probably make my tea for me if I asked it nicely. As for your 32-bit query, in all honesty I haven't investigated that one.

I presume so, but I use Pro, so can't confirm personally

Yes you can use it in any version of Cubase, LE, Elements, Artist or Pro.
