Thanks Liz! I performed at the N.H. (Loon Mt) Highland Games this year, and got to see many good young fiddlers competing... I hit up the after-hours gang, and there was great craic amongst the fiddlers, whistlers, flute, and guitar...but no mandos? Hmmm? Some Uillean pipers- smallpipes.. I thumped away on the bodhran, eventually throwing out some flute and fiddle, and went home about 1am...leaving 30 musicians behind...Great night! Hows YOUR summer?!
