Personally, I think DWM is most beautiful when used stock. There's just something about the simplicity of 0 patches/external code in addition to an already minimal, sub ~2k SLOC wm that never gets boring (although reading that back it sounds like it should get incredibly boring incredibly fast). For ricing, I think most other twm are better suited for the task tbh

Any chance you could do a tutorial on apt pinning? From what I understand this allows you to install packages when needed from testing or unstable. This is a topic I haven't learned yet and Google Gemini said that this is a skill that a system admin on Debian should have. The cura package in stable branch has plugin errors when launching. I know I can install the flatpack version but would love to know how to stick with official packages when I can. Thanks for your great content. Your more knowledgeable than I and I respect and appreciate the sharing of knowledge for sure.

I did a video on pinning when I was using bullseye. It was pinning with the goal of using the testing branch kernel. Not sure I recommend it. Personally, had more problems than it is worth, Just a quick fyi, if you want an updated kernel, backports is using 6.6.13-1 kernel. packages.debian.org/bookworm-backports/linux-image-amd64
