What's your office installation 32 or 64 bit? You renamed the exiftool(-k).exe to exiftool.exe?

Thanks, is there a method I can get info about a video file, e.g. so like video code and audio code? Hope you can help.

I don't have a lot of audio or video file to test with, but the exiftool does return all sort of info on the files I quickly tested. You could also try the technique explained in: www.devhut.net/how-to-retrieve-a-files-properties-with-vba/
