I have a question, my company uses Carlson command codes, B “begin” and E “end” the command codes are entered before the code so I get linework but Trimble doesn’t seem to recognize my command code is there a setting in Trimble where I can tell it that I’m putting the command code in front of the the code?

Hi Robert. Thank you for posting these. I am trying to put together an .fxl for the company I work for, so I have to use their existing control codes. Their lines begin automatically but their end join sequences use a *.T. For example to end edge of pavement, I would use EP1.T Is there a way to use their existing control codes?

Why do you need to start a new string if you’ve ended the previous string ?
@SurveyingWithRobert Жыл бұрын
You don’t have to. Line codes create lines starting and stoping just keeps you organized so you don’t slip up and start running lines somewhere else. You can just end or start a line and that will begin a new line. It’s more about keeping in straight in your head. Hope that helps.

hi Robert, where can I get TSC-7 emulator?
@billh13553 жыл бұрын
Hey Robert, Thanks for the video. Do you know where we might be able to find the TSC emulator? I'd find it useful for helping walk the field crews through certain steps from the office as well...

Do you have a local Trimble Dealer? If so he can get you an emulator, just ask him. He will need your computer ID in Trimble Installation Manager. Look for the "i" about.

My apologizes. Keep in mind this is when I was just figuring this KZbin stuff out. I am a surveyor not a videographer. I am still trying to figure out some of this stuff. As you can imagine I have had to learn cameras and sound not to mention how to edit. My goal is to show you how this stuff works and learn this camera stuff along the way. Thank you!
