Simply "have to" means that you have to do something whereas "must" is that whatever will be situation you are going to do your work at any cost. "Have to" something is necessary but "must" means that it is mandatory.

In this lesson the focus is to show using MUST as an alternative to Have to, hence all the implementation of MUST cannot be explained in one lesson. However, would be coming up a lesson exclusively on the use of MUST....Good observation . Thanks for watching

The way of presentation is lucid & impressive as well . please accept my warm compliments . The present lesson throws A flood of light on modals must & have to . As far as my knowledge goes have to indicates external pressure or compulsion . Ex. I have to submit the documents today itself ( otherwise I will be fined or pay for it ) .Must shows strong compulsion . Ex. I must thank you from the bottom of my heart (.can't be replaced by have to) . Necessity is indicated by need to . Ex . I need to work hard . I think , All these applications should have been clarified . May have to / might have to does not indicate just possibility but indicates possibility with compulsion . Ex. He may have to go abroad means perhaps he will have to. Please clarify this point otherwise students may get A bit confused . You have spoken about possibility only . Ex. He may go abroad means perhaps he will / he is likely to go abrord . The rest is excellent . I keep watching , enjoying improving from the learnex lessons . Thanks A lot ! With regards .
