Ancient debris tips: Mine or explode on the chunk lines so that you are making your tunnel through two or four chunks as there's a better chance of finding ancient debris. Also, always clear out the lava by blocking the flow as you can find a lot of debris behind and under lava.

That's what I was about to say. Also, he could have saved a bit of TNT by spacing out the charges a little more, with three spaces between them, you'll still get sympathetic detonation in most cases. As for statistics, in case anyone can use it, I got 9 Ancient Debris from one stack of TNT as I recently tested out the method, it seems to me that it's faster to mine a 6 blocks wide, 2 blocks high tunnel along the chunk borders, than doing a regular 1X2 tunnel and then blasting through. Sure, you'll get to the debris that isn't visible in a carved tunnel, but there's so little of it that I think it's faster to just ignore it.

I don't have that much experience with netherite mining on java edition, but so far I've picked two tips. First, it's best to mine on chunk borders. You can see them using F3+G, and works because ancient debris from two chunks can sometimes be in one spot, increasing your rates. Second, if you don't wanna wait many hours for gunpowder, you can just use a pickaxe by digging a 2x2 tunnel on a chunk border. The perk about this is if you have a pickaxe with mending, the quartz you mine as you go will repair it for you. I've done this, and it did take a while, but you can get as much netherite as you want doing this, basically for free.

Hey naitsirc! You could also make the xp farm fully automatic with a trident killer if you want, so you can farm xp while you are sleeping. I did that and it works perfectly fine.☺️

Great video, if you use tnt, try leaving 2-3 blocks gap between them, that way you will be able to make longer tunels. Also the method i use is beds, you can make a spider farm that will give you infinite strings so infinite beds, they are much more effective than tnt but make sure that before you blow up the bed, you are standing on a slab or some other non flammable block since this method can be a lot more dangerous. Bring a few stacks of wool and a few stacks of logs and craft the beds when you get to the mine, make a little station with chests for excess blocks. Try not to mine in only one direction, do it in a strip mine way, this way you cover more space. For example, instead of using all 3 stacks of tnt in one row, split it in half or more. Do not use it all at the same time, this is because you can be underneath the lava lake and once the tnt explodes, lava could block your path making it difficult to get around to the rest of the tunnel. I've always just mined for ancient debris along the chunk borders with a pickaxe. It's a little bit less efficient than tnt but you don't have to deal with as much lava and since you have mending you can repair your pickaxe when needed

Make yourself an auto kill gold farm (as in trident helps you to kill the mobs and you just get the exp orb) it really gives lots of exp.. you can get to level 100 within 2-3 hours afking tho.

Soul Speed have one to three level and you have only 1 level. i think it's better to have Soul Speed III. sadly you cant get it by trading, or enchanting table. to get it by bartering with piglins. Tho it will take time.
