Aliensrock: What if colors don't matter when pairing Ah yes even more advanced forms of really bad things This can be a metaphor for so so many things even if it's completely unintentional It's literally just puzzles yes but it could be inferred as a metaphor for sexual segregation ie homosexual relationships as well as interracial relationships

You can ignore one of the dots as long as the triangle shape isn’t cut of of accessing it to complete it

It's so entertaining to watch you solve puzzles, even when somehow it takes you the longest to solve the easiest mechanic. Though everybody learns differently and I couldn't actually solve the hard puzzles anyway even if I understand the mechanics of it.

Man, you worked out the eraser glyph faster then anyone else I've seen. You have a real good intrinsic understand of the puzzles as the whole and are picking things up really quickly.

6:10 I know this video is three years old and you probably understood after a while, but the white caltrop thing is in fact the "not" symbol, it cancels one of the required dots out. But they have to be in the same section, there can't be a line blocking them. I'm happy I managed to figure that out lmao

For those saying Tyler is a slow learner... No. He isn’t. He recognizes patterns that aren’t solutions to the puzzles, but that doesn’t mean he’s necessarily slow. Especially because this game is VERY limited in teaching the player what specific objects ACTUALLY mean. It’s like trying to guess the sound of a letter from a language you’ve never heard of. For those who speak the language, OF COURSE ITS GONNA BE EASIER.

When the quarry leads you in with a segregation puzzle and you get to the puzzles because of a dot being eliminated, but don't realize you eliminate a dot in the same segment.

Since your first thought was you have to find the fake one then solve around it. There's no reason to say you wouldn't do the same if it started with the harder ones

That’s why there’s a lot of tutorials. Yes, the player has to understand the mechanic (like all games), but there’s really only one area (sound jungle) that has a somewhat poorly laid-out tutorial.

@@IAmUnderscore That's the thing, different people could struggle with different areas. Some struggle with the apples area, just not realising they have to look at the trees, does it make them stupid? I don't think so

@@sunbleachedangel I never said people were stupid for not getting the puzzles, but look at how that area is laid out. First of all, people may try to guess, but the fact that each panel turns off for a wrong answer dispels that easily enough. Next, every time the first panel is selected, the camera shifts to a position where the apple tree is clearly visible. Also, keep in mind that every other tree around is pink, so it stands out. The panel is green too, to really hammer in the correlation between panel and tree. And of course, the puzzle itself is laid out like a tree. If someone doesn't understand even after the game doing all it can to help the player, it's not the game's fault. That person is maybe just too focused on the panel itself, or got frustrated and can't think logically.

For the Black and White Squares puzzle I associate the squares with wolves and sheep. The white squares are sheep and the black squares are wolves. As for the puzzles involving squares with colours other than black and white, I'm drawing up with a blank as to their associations...

I got it. The tri-star needs a buddy. You cover up all the black dots, but leave 1 black dot to be friends with the tristar. But, the lines you draw separate different regions of the puzzle. The tristar also needs to be in the same region as his black dot buddy.

What you said was very true, you just cannot see it if you don't know the game, and all about the game is that "aha" moment like in baba. I would say chat maybe be smart enough to solve puzzles, but anyone can if they know the rules, and chat rlly just is too stupid to realize that theres no clear tutorial or indications. Only logic and trial&error. But eh, I guess you can't please everyone

@@Martin_FTW He responded to someone saying that it's frustrating to watch this. Considering that he spent 18 minutes repeatedly solving the first four levels of the tutorial for this mechanic, I'm sure the entire chat was frustrated by the end of it. Even without knowing the mechanic in advance I'm sure most if not all people could figure out what the little fidget spinner does, faster than the 24 minutes it took him. Yet he implies that chat are frustrated because they already knew. (Haven't watched all of the video yet, so I don't know how it is edited, but I was watching this VOD when I saw the notification)

@MawilliX The entire chat was literally telling each other how the mechanic worked the second they saw it show up, there wasn't a single person there who didn't already know because of that. And honestly, 24 minutes isn't very long for learning a mechanic at all. I can guarantee that you took longer, and that most people without help took longer.

Just gonna remind you of the elemental puzzels there was one in the quarie look at the tracks from the elevator.They look like simple line puzzles like on the mountain and the desert area

The line lights up as wrong when the panel is testing if you know how the thing works. Otherwise it would tell you what was wrong with it

Those little three-point asterisks are a 'null one connected dot' symbol. Putting in my two cents at the six minute mark, in case he figures it out later.
