I enjoy the KKC as a base gel with ICH on top. My hair doesn’t respond as well to UFD but it’s a product to water ratio issue for me even after 2 years. My daughters hair does really well with UFD and ICD. Thank you for sharing another wash day with us.

I think this is a good combo for you. I avoid products getting on my scalp as much as possible but my issue is flat roots which reduce my volume. Even when I place very little product on my roots, my roots are still flat. That's how my hair grows out.

Your set is gorgeous. This is funny because I just pulled this combo out to use. I'm just letting the dye grow out and embracing my grey. That's no shade to anyone who dyes their hair. At 62, I'm over covering my greys and tired of pampering color treated hair.

I just used Papaya Slip as my base, but I was afraid to use it as one and done, so I topped it with Mop Top. It’s a great combo so far-feels and looks great on day one.

Yes it gives a good wash and go! I have another video where I show in shower application! But you only need a little. I get 41/2 uses. I would love to know how it turns out, my instagram dm is always open if you like to share!

​​@@rosieamelia5955 ​ yes, I'm still figuring out the product/water ratio on both UFD gel and Kinky Curly custard. I will probably top my Kinky Curly with Mousse Def or Ouidad Anti-Himidity gel... I actually have both on my "sets to try" list. 😅 I have both of those "toppers". Haven't tried ICH yet. I'll let you know how it goes!

I'm a firm believer do what you feel works best for you. I like to rotate by base/ leave in weekly. I think that has helped with irritation issues. I know technically, leave ins are frowned upon but I feel if the leave-in has decent humectants, it pairs quite nicely with my toppers. I use Curl Origin Honey Hisbiscus Whipped Leave in or PureO Naturals Botanical extract leave in paired with KCCC.

Today I tried KCCC as a base and put the leave in after the gel and followed with ICH and a snip of BCG/ENBBA gel because the humidity is high here and I’m loving how my curls clumped !! I don’t get the same clumpage with Uncle Funky’s

@@rosieamelia5955 😆😆 Lol I do, one small in the front but you know shrinkage hides it all😇. I’ve been using FoTi (He Shou Wu) powder on my hair. It’s the secret to Yao Women’s black hair, when I found out after my first white hair, I will never stop using it. So I hope more won’t grow in. 🤣It can also be used orally.
