Using Landmine Traps to Avoid Aggro

My luck would have one of them turning around to aggro on my right before hand and kill me with their autos after the explosion is done lol

Does this mechanic still work? And does it work all throughout potd or just on that set of floors?

Absolutely works on any floor and any deep dungeon! It's more useful in EO because of Protomander of Storms.
