Using my cargo bike to get my kids out in nature

I love doing this kind of exploring with our kids as well, on our cargo bike. We also have a few parks on our way to the main trail, and our kids also always ask if we can stop. But we've discovered so many new parks by adventuring like this too! And I've totally taken turn-arounds too tight like that too, and dumped the bike.

your kids enjoy a bike ride time and times more than a comfy car ride, cars are stupid and boring even when you're not stuck in traffic (let alone the dangers they cause everyday everywhere) we should ban cars in north america

Perhaps a little too reactionary there but definitely, society all around the world has come to depend on cars far too much to be the main mode of transport for our working and social lives. For most people who use cars, apart from the financial and ecological costs, they make distance and commuting seem relatively effortless and safe. Bicycles are exposed to the elements and dangers. Hard work and effort, even with e-bikes. An adventurous and alternative spirit is required to make that shift for most people. People need to be persuaded of the benefits to change and not denigrated for their conventional choices.
