In Europe huh! Have fun here, if you're still over here. Definetely give Haarlem or Leiden a go with a medium format camera. Whenever I feel like taking pictures I just go into Haarlem's old streets and hidden alleys. Especially now that spring is in full swing some of these alleys are covered with beautiful lush plant growth. Go there if Holland is on your list.

Water can do those stains anyway. The effect of the stains is caused by a chemical reaction between the water and the silver halides on the film (AgBr for example) that will react with water specially bottled "drinking" water wich has an higher pH. This reaction can for example create Bromidic Acid wich will stain the film and partially «develop» causing color shifts.

Will you use a point-and-shoot for this big project in Europe ? Stephen Shore said he used a Rollei 35 for American surfaces because he was inspired by taking photos with a Mickey camera. Everybody was smiling... That said, great job again for this video !
