You're doing great brother, don't beat yourself up and don't concern yourself with the negative Nellie's. They are just miserable people that like to try and make others miserable with them! Thanks for another video. Besides it being a bit difficult to position without powered tracks, it does seem to have a very nice amount of power for its size. I enjoy watching your videos with this machine thus far, you certainly are doing well considering it’s only your 2nd time using it. I too feel the learning curve and can relate. Hey there from NE Georgia in the states. New here. I know u said u wanna order a new seat with back & arms. For pull up bars .. can u weld some tube steel onto the body behind & under the seat extended out a lil enuf for u to grab onto & pull up? You'll need to bend for correct shape & locale. I've seen how you fabricate/mod things (previous vids u posted) bc u see ways to make things work better. Great gift btw. Nit everyone is blessed like that.

I'd take out those other 2 big trees behind cabin especially the one right behind cabin so you can open up your secondary drive and future issues with cabin. Far as moving your digger around I would put a ball hitch on front of the side by side to make certain moves way easier...

It seems the manufacturer put the lines to the dipper on the boom, and the boom lines on the dipper. It’s much easier to get the double action of the elbow and shoulder using both sticks. But we’ll done sir. The more you use it the easier it will be.

Great content! I am wondering if the excavator could be used while still pinned to your side by side? Like having a backhoe on the ATV and moving it with the side by side? Asking because thinking that I could use it and leave it pinned on the garden tractor

You could try to lifting up on one side like changing the wheel to unhitch it. It will be tilted but it might work.
@stefanschuh2957
@stefanschuh2957 Жыл бұрын
Option 1: Take the outriggers off, unhook the hitch. Lower the boom and replace outriggers. So it's pivoting on it's wheels. Option 2: unhitch before removing wheels form the front. Then as you did at home, raise the vehicle with the boom and swap wheels and outriggers. You know it leans forward, if you reach the boom out while wheel are on in move position.
@michaelott1551
@michaelott1551 Жыл бұрын
You are doing it the right way to unhook use a bottle jack.
@purplegang6998

Is it possible to add a trailer hitch to the front of your atv? Backing a trailer with a short wheel span is hard. It always seems that the slightest movement of the atv causes the backhoe to go where you don't want it. A hitch in front of the atv would allow you to move it where you want it much easier. Good luck! Just found your channel. Enjoying it very much. Also, adding a trailer jack should make unhooking a snap.

My guess to unhitch in the current configuration would be (1) lower the bucket to lift the outriggers. (2) Reinsert the outriggers 180 degrees off normal. (3) Slowly raise the boom (lower the outriggers) and the tow hitch should raise and clear. (4) Then reinstall the outriggers correctly. Anyway, that's what Cindy said. :)

I would be making two more wheels and leaving them on the back full time….I would make hydronic cylinder lifts just like a backhoe for the fron that would raise it above the wheels so I never had to pull the front ones off again.

I guess watching you do it I found a couple of issues 1 is the machine is too low secondly the boom could be a little bit longer I would think because it appeared that you're constantly having trouble trying to get enough height to put the soil into the back of your ATV I guess the trailer would probably be more suited because it would not sit as high but then you would be in a bigger situation where you had to get the soil off

I'm not telling you what to do but that bucket does not have any teeth on it they do sell two different types of teeth, Chisel and rock teeth.Chisels are good all around to do what you want to do with it. Right now you are using the mounting pin for the teeth to dig with.(not good) I myself keep the trencher hooked up to my utv for better pulling power and portability sometimes when possible leave hooked to my truck. ( Better anchor to prevent moving when digging). Great effort a little more practice and you will be a pro too. Good luck!!!🙂🙂🙂

Thats why they make jakes. You can't put a trailer jack on it unless its one u pin on an off. One bolted on would get ripped of broken. How do you lift ur side by side to fix a tire? A jack how did you hook it up to side by side had to be a jack. Even if u had the wheels on the back. How would you lift it if one of its tires went flat. Lol. Seem strait forward to me

Beats breaking your back using a shovel hands down. My only issue with these, and the reason I didn't buy one is the amount of time that is wasted transporting, and then transitioning from tow mode to digging mode and back. I guess I'm in too much of a hurry.
