I really appreciate that you don't talk film, lenses, gear. It was a note to self that it's the photographer that makes the image, and sometimes being more aware of the fundamentals like LIGHT, is much of what you need to craft an amazing image.

The lighting your talking about that you prefer is called Upstage Lighting, and it's definitely a preference for film directors. You Nail it for sure
