Every single year Jordan played a full season with the Bulls (11), is all in the top 50. The only Bulls seasons that isn’t on here is when he broke his leg and played 18 games and the other where he played 17 games in 1995 when he came out of retirement.

Mike was just so much better than lebron. He's a way better shooter, way better defender, way better competitor. #2 in blocks at his position, #1 in steals. What's LeBron really doing that that's much better? Before some says assists chill. He averaged a triple double when he played pg. Plus all these stats would go even heavier in MJ's favor if he played in todays league. Rules and game style have been heavily changed to allow for easier scoring

I hope people can see now why us "old heads" hated when LBJ went to Miami with D Wade. In 09 they both were like top 5 players and then they joined up the next year. They just killed the competition aspect of the game. Then KD felt the right to do the same thing.

That last thing you said that speaks to years from now people won’t have seen MJ. Think about people that will have never seen Lebron play. They’ll figure out it’s no way he could be the goat and only have four rings. Jordan beat Magic a top 5 all time player. He beat Malone and Barkley both Mvp players at the time. Lebron only had four rings and that last one came off a Heat time who’s best player was Jimmy Butter. How you think that is going to age? Having less rings and beating Jimmy Butler to get one of those😂

In the 90s, games averaged 100 point per team. Now the average is close to 120. A team in the 90s to reach 120 points means at least a 2 OT.

Jordan could have had more MVP's, also keep in mind he missed 2 seasons in his prime prime where he could have won the MVP also. I know he played 17 games in that 2nd season but he wasn't going to really be eligible to win the MVP during that comeback year.

You shouldn't be surprised that Scottie Pippen made the list. He wasn't that great of a player when he first entered the league (only averaged 8 points in his rookie year), but to win championships, Jordan and Phil knew they needed a 2nd option. A Robin to MJ's Batman. They noticed Scottie's potential and made sure to hone it. Phil had Pippen guard MJ during practices. Imagine guarding the best scorer of all time during practices then facing off with other players who are not as fast or as skilled during actual games. Once Pippen developed into a great defender, it became steel sharpening steel at that point. Pippen would not have developed the way he did if he didn't have Jordan, but Jordan could have found another great option, it just happened to be Pippen. Unlike Lebron that just finds players that are already top level caliber like Wade, Bosh, AD, etc., MJ built Pippen.

I agree. If you consider LeBron the GOAT at the end of his career, I won't fight you on that... but if you say LeBron was the BETTER basketball player, that's fighting words LOL Michael Jordan was and is the better basketball player. I don't think you can make a good argument against it. He did MORE in less time than LeBron did. Yes, longevity is a thing but the peaks that MJ hit were damn HIGH. I mean look at this video, he has 11 of the top 50 "greatest" regular seasons EVER... that's wild for someone who only really play 14 seasons.

The modern game has a lack of defense, partially due to rule changes. The NBA is in the entertainment business so more scoring is seen as a good thing. The same is true in the NFL. Rule changes have a great effect on the games, and some are not good 🤗

When you talk about peaks, remember jordan retire and comeback, so you can’t really measure if he didn’t retire you can probably make a 10 year peak that would compare better to James but Jordan have 11 of the best 50 and James 5 so I am sure if you compare all Michael Jordan season whit Lebron Jordan still be on top, or compare 1072 games wish is Jordan total games agains James 1072 first games, i watch Jordan , I was actually a laker fan magic , then Jordan came and all change, I continue watching O’Neal, kobe but Jordan make the game better
