Amazing intro! Could you show us how one could have multiple Opengl Surfaces and GUI (like a button or two)? Also, is this updated only when the GUI is redrawn?

It seems that the OpenGL version setting didn't have any effect. I still get a context with version 2.1 on my Mac😂

Yeah, I've been having mixed results with PyQt's OpenGL stuff on Mac too...

Well, I have figure out that the surface format should be set before the creation of the window. In the init function of the inherited window class, I create a new QSurfaceFormat object, set the version value and call self.setFormat function with this new format object, it works😁

great line 70 should be "self.vbo" instead "self.vao"😁
