Agree with you there! I was in a Kia with the Smart Park Assistant that can move the car forwards/backwards with the keyfob and thought that was pretty neat

If you turn off the HUD, does it remember this after an ignition cycle or does it pop up everytime you key on?

It should remember whether it was enabled or disabled

It's optional in the Platinum trim.. just need to make sure that you add on the Premium Technology Package

Great Video! Will the park assist have any troubles with a mounted trailer hitch while doing parallel parking as there is less space until you hit the car behind you and the sensors can't detect the mounted trailer hitch?

Thanks Jeff! I haven't tried park assist with a hitch connected but the systems run off the parking sensors so it shouldn't have an issue picking up what's going on around you

Believe that the Puma Titanium is the entry level EU trim. It most likely won't have park assist...

When using the HUD system, some of the items don't show even though they are selected. One such item is the speed limit signs. It shows on the main display but not on the HUD unless you activate the cruise control. You don't have to have it active, just on. Is this supposed to be the way it works or do I have a bug? Thanks

Believe that speed recognition is only available when adaptive cruise system is toggled on but it should still display even if no speed is set. Most likely a bug but I'd actually recommend reaching out to Ford Canada or USA directly and let them know

Hi. I have the same issue. When I test drove with other dealer but same model, I could see the speed limit in the HUD but with the car I bought from other dealer, I dont see the speed limit in the HUD even though the option is checked. I guess as Steve mentioned, I might have to contact the dealer for this bug.

Park Assist is in the ST-Line Elite, Platinum and Plugin Hybrid when you get the available tech packs on those trims...

Yes there are... it can come as the Active, ST-Line, ST-Line Select, ST-Line Elite, Platinum or Plug-In Hybrid. Having the panoramic roof doesn't guarantee park assist or a HUD, as it's available as a standalone option. The Plug-In Hybrid has an available PHEV Premium Pack that would give you the HUD, 360 camera and a few other features

low key disappointed the HUD doesn't project onto the windshield like others do. otherwise this would have been perfect. been looking for a compact car with 360 camera and HUD.

It's an interesting choice on Ford's part to have the HUD like this.. The Lincoln equivalent, the Corsair, has it projected so Ford could do it that way if they wanted. The display is still pretty visible though with this set up

If park assist isn't working there could be a few reasons.. Check the sensors and make sure there isn't any snow, ice or dirt, taking it through a car wash is easiest. If that doesn't help there could be an issue with one of the sensors so it'll have to be booked in for service - it might be moisture in a sensor or a worn connector
