I think you forgot that in sonic superstars the grey emerald gives each character a special ability. Knuckles ability is just punching. So you could use that.

It is infinite strength. Knuckles has been stated multiple times to have strength rivalling Sonic's speed and since Sonic casually breaks out of dimensional spaces and not only moves in, but restores time within a timeless void, his speed is beyond calculation thus so is Knuckles' strength.

In Sonic Advance, pressing the B button will cause Knuckles to manually throw a punch, but I believe it uses the same animation as his idle, so I don't think your calculation would change.

Knuckles from SA2 is second weakest despite punching a meteorite that is approximately a 10 foot diameter, made of something presumably akin to Granite, which weighs 82.5 TONS up to 100 yards is a bit of a stretch. The centimeter to pixel ratio isn't a bad system, but it shouldn't be the only one.

Oh that only gets me how far the punch is thrown. Everything else is based on his weight and other factors we know for sure. Knuckles isn’t very strong here so this meter must not be the 82 tons you’re talking about. I made sure to do the exact system for how people measure a boxers punch so idk what else I should’ve done

@llennoxyt i was basing my ballpark off of the meteors resting about Metor Herd. Each one is a little over triple his height, and are vaguely spherical. So a 10 foot diameter chunk of stone should weigh a little over 70 tons. And you can punch them pretty far in that stage, hard enough to send them flying several meters and blow open steel doors. Though I admit I wasn't considering Knuckles' own mass, but all the same, the energy behind it, even if not delivered fast, should be immense. There could also something to be said for the amount of kinetic energy needed to bust open the flying boulders in the wind tunnel of Wild Canyon Edit: based on my own calculations, the feat of punching one of those rocks as far as he does lands at approximately 941,204 joules.

No you're good because I thought the same thing to when looking it up! When someone punches, they typically put the full force of their body into the punch and not just their hands or arms. So when we see Knuckles lean forward in his punches, he's using his full body weight and not just his hands

For me, it's a tie between Chaotix Knuckles and Sonic Mania Knuckles... Game was just misunderstood for me. It's a game with Knuckles and four other unfamiliar characters, followed by a robot and a bomb. No mention of Angel Island, the master emerald. There was no Sonic and Tails. The games plot was just a beautiful mess, including the bad ending you get for not getting the Chaos Rings... Sonic Boom Knuckles doesn't exist to me...
