Using PLASTICINE CLAY For Resin Mold | RESIN HACK | How To Mix Resin

Hi everyone Welcome back 😀
Today is a fun experimental video where I use PLASTICINE as resin coaster mold.
So let us see all how this whole process work.
Supplies:
-PLASTICINE
-PVC clear plastic
-Resin
-White Pigment Paste
-Transparent epoxy pigment
-Gold foil

It's beautiful, the petals are so delicate. I made a flower, by accident I dropped pigments directly into the resin instead of my alcohol inks. I thought for sure it would be a disaster. It turned out beautiful, I didn't think it would cure. I was so happy x

I love your free form resin work. I'm really happy to see the resin didn't react to the plasticine clay. Have you ever used used thick non adhesive vinyl tape as flexible molding.? Perhaps using vinyl tape and the clay together could give a smother edge to the resin, using the clay on the outside to mold/shape and hold the tape in place, thus the resin wouldn't stick to the to the vinyl tape as much as the clay does. Any how i love your ideas with resin.

This clay is plasticine clay this one don't dry. And for the one that dry rock hard simply paint it with golden edge otherwise you don't have much options.

make your mold on grease proof paper cook in oven then use …it doesnt stick like plasticine and easy to remove

The heat from your hand is enough to make it softer, but there are a lot of different clay out there and some are more runny, aimed for small children who hasn’t got the strength yet.
