the variety of skintone colors really surprised me! there were light and pale skin colors, mid-tone dark-ish skintones and the dark dark skintones !!! they are to die for! love ohuhu for this. in most skintone marker packs i've seen there were like 10 light markets, 3 dark markers, and 2 mid markers, if that makes sense. english isn't my first language. also, the art piece is astonishing. you're an amazing artist. love ya lots!
@FoxtrotMouse4 жыл бұрын
What I love the most is that Ohuhu actually listened to their customers. In the old set, there was a lot of complaints that there wasn't a lot of pale skin tones. Plus, there was a weird, yellow color that isn't in any human skin tone. I'm glad they actually took the complaints to heart.

It’s very interesting seeing this video as in others that I’ve watched of the Ohuhu skin tone set there was a green marker for undertones that wasn’t in your set and I didn’t see the bright orange market previously, so either they changed the colors in the marker set or the markers are different from set to set. Great art and your own cat is as cute as always. I’d love to see you try to create different skin tones with these markers in the future.

I would absolutely love a video where you use these to do a tutorial for several different skin tones (the same video but with coloured pencils would also be amazing!) I have been wanting to improve colouring skin tones for a while now but I struggle a lot with getting them to look realistic and not oversaturated and fake (even in an animated/illustration style it looks fake and ruins the whole picture). I love this cat-apillar illustration, it has a gorgeous autumnal feel to it 💜
