You've put it on WAY to thick. Couple of twists of the applicator is enough to do the whole panel and more. It should be applied thinly, to the point you just barely see it on the paint. KOG is great stuff. I also use Fusso coat.

Thanks for your message, I’ll try to use a bit less next time.

Less is always more with wax . Big fan of Soft99 products and this on top of Fusso is a real winner . Luxury Wax by Soft is a good spray on wax I love using

You don't need a screwdriver to open it. You can use the top lid on the internal lid.

I need to buy some new wax so I'll give this a go. Looks good. NB. You will get minor swirls if you don't wash using plenty of water although I understand why you choose not to. You won't remove swirls with wax though.....polish is what's required for that. A tip I picked up years ago was to always use Johnson's Baby Bath in hot water to wash which keeps the car very shiny, assuming it's shiny to start with. Once a year I clay bar my cars,(which takes ages!), then polish, then wax and finally a gloss protection, then after six months I'll just wax and gloss. Seems to work very well.

Many thanks for the tips David, I think I will need to polish the car but might leave it for now. Being a dark colour and direct gloss no lacquer it seems almost impossible to keep scratch free, even running a finger over the paint is enough to mark it if it's just been polished. I found washing it seemed to do more harm then good, not to the body but the half shafts, brake drums and some engine components seemed to get rusty no matter how well I thought I'd dried the car. Now I just clean the underside with WD40 and use the rapid detailer on the body, it seems leave a good protecting layer without needing an extra wax application afterwards.

@@davidrussellwilks If you do decide to compound/polish your B, you might consider a applying sealant such as Turtle Wax Seal & Shine prior to any wax. Or possibly one of the ceramic detail sprays.

@@lengeiger Thanks Len, I have tried a ceramic coating in the past, it seemed to work OK, just had to be sure that no parts got too dry/cured before buffing as it made it difficult.

Hey, just to let you know you can use clay mitt. Its faster than clay bar and save a lot time. Maybe you know this im not sure but clay bar is takin ages, clay mitt is way better

I've been using the AutoGlym wax polish for dark paints for my dark purple car. Makes it shine nicely, but, as you have showed with your wax, I do sadly continue to have some small blemishes and "dots" on the my paintwork.

Yes, I think the only way to remove the light scratches is with a compound polish, the problem is that if you keep doing it you might start to wear away the paint.

Bilt Hamber Autobalm. Very good at hiding light swirls and scratches. A bit tricky to apply and remove but great finish, especially for older cars.

The insistence on the point this wax did not remove swirl marks is a bit daft. Soft99 waxes are not designed to remove swirl marks and Soft99 does not advertise them as designed to remove swirl marks, holograms or light scratches. Virtually all Soft99 waxes (and Fusso Coat especially) are utterly tenacious protective coatings.

So you applied the King of Gloss over top of a detailer instead of stripping it down of old waxes?

yes, that's correct

The waterless cleaners do seem to work well unless the car is really dirty.

Maybe its a cemera angle or something but i didn't seen much difference at all. I am very interested in this wax and looking for reviews. End of video you showed all car, is that means you applied wax on all car? For better reviews you should probably need get better lighting in your unit/garage. I would like to see you doing reviews about Sonax blue detailer or poor boys black hole. Thanks for the review but it wasn't good enough for me 👍
