Using Spring with OpenAPI

The State of Spring 2022 survey[1] shows that a majority of Spring users are probably also using OpenAPI[2] in some form. We even use it extensively inside VMware, and ship large amounts of code annually to internal and external customers using Spring and OpenAPI. This presentation looks at the choices available for implementing OpenAPI services or clients with Spring. We look at a range of tools and configuration options, and also consider approaches to building API-based systems on the server and the client, supporting practical implementation choices in real systems.
