Awesome breakdown! That movie aesthetics are amazing. The whole concept is so alien and creepy yet so beautiful. What a piece of work.

Reuploaded? Probably got a copyright strike for movie footage. God if so, KZbin is getting REALLY annoying.

kushagra K mostly the fact that in many many MANY occasions, completely fair use of footage (for the purposes of review, parody, etc) gets flagged as copyright infringement, screwing legitimate creators/journalists out of their income

had a shoot last week were we used alot of tungsten (cheaper) and we had a shot with that laowa probe lens thing, its t14, so you need a ton of light. in the end there were no less than four 5ks surrounding the actress, all no more than 2 meters away, it was a hot day too, afterwards i thought i should have vetoed that shot, she was sweating so hard that from the point when the makeup department made her ready to when the camera was rolling (just a few seconds) she was sweaty again. not a very nice thing to do if im honest. other than that, love tungsten, its just fun to go oldschool. if i remember correctly i used a bare s60 on 100% just as an eyelight, shit was ridiculous.

I have a question. Tungsten lights generally die out quickly from what I've seen right? The filament just breaks. What do you get instead then? Is there a better kind of tungsten light?

How many gaffers does it take to light a zoom interview? More than one, apparently, this guys looks like he’s in the shimmer
@xx1simon1xx4 жыл бұрын
curse of the trade, im a lighting tec/ gaffer, and my appartment is pretty much all bare lightbulbs (real tungsten at least, shitty leds trigger me), there is just something about thinking about light all day that makes you go "fuck that" when you realized you have to do something about the lighting inside your own home.

Simon Wilbert Kramer ahah at least it’s tungsten and not cold cfl bulbs from 2007

great interview, but kind of ironic that the lighting technicians zoom call looked horrible lol. He's probably like "I'm not being paid enough for this."

No one cares if you're "first". It's meaningless. Plus, the only way you could be first is if you posted your comment before watching the video.
