Using the ADT Control App

Hi Rob. I use the phone app to eat home/away,but the installer set it to arm the system automatically between 2300 to 5 how do I disable this feature please. Iv set the sencer in the living room off by accident by entering it.

@@DrewJames-b4p Hi. They must have set an arming schedule for you. I don’t believe you can set this up or disable this in the app. You would have to go to the ADTControl website not through app. If you don’t know the website just search ADT Control login and it will come up. Use your same login credentials as your ADT Control app. In there it’s either schedules or it’s an arming rule that’s been set up. You should be able to locate it there and delete it or adjust it to better suit your needs and schedule. Hope that helps

Hi Rod, It’s been a few weeks that I got the ADT installed and I was wondering how to erase the activity history and how to add images to the screen panel?

Hi Mary, To my understanding I don’t think you can erase the activity history that shows on your app. You can filter and specify what you want to see when you are looking at the activity history though. Such as just seeing the front door activity for the day or month etc. As time goes on newer activity will take place anyway. I am curious. Why are you wanting to erase the activity? In regards to your second question, what do you mean add images to the screen panel?

Hi. You need a certain service with ADT to have the app. If it was recently the installation technician would have had you fill out a Welcome to ADT email that would direct you to create an account for the Control app. When did you get ADT service?

@@NikiPatel-f4o Hi. It depends what system and service package you have. Typically if you have ADT’s Command panel and pay for the service package that has remote arming/disarming capability (the Control App) then during the installation ADT would have sent you a Welcome to ADT email and would have given you steps to set up the ADT Control app. Hope this helps.

I am trying to bypass a room on my app. how do I do that

@@stephaniespar4266 Hi. I at this time you are not able to bypass a sensor from the app. You would have to go into the panel, go to zones on the main screen, select the sensor, and hit bypass. When you do this it will ask you to put in your 4 digit code and then will temporarily bypass the selected sensor. Temporarily meaning the next time you arm the security system that sensor will still be bypassed but once you disarm the system it will clear all bypassed sensors. You would have to go back in and bypass the sensor if you wanted to bypass it again. Hope this info helps
