Very good video, At the end you mentioned that one cn flip flop so airstep control the app and spark control the amp. Can you make a video about it? Also is the process the same if you are Android user?

I see you have other pedals around. How do you loop? Is there a drum machine pedal in your setup?

Yes I do. I use the trio plus which is a looper/drum machine combo. I keep all the extra pedals in front of the spark. I use the extra pedals for soloing because if I just change tones on the spark they change in the looper as well. Hope that answers your question.

@@caseyfisher72 thanks for your reply. So you keep your spark effects off when using other pedals, right? I wish there was a way around it. That's a pity

I cannot say I've tried it but I have read that others have had success with android tablets.

I just bought a new iPad 9th generation 10.2 just to be able to use both the airstep spk and spark control, and I can't get it to work. I'm following your instructions exactly, and I'm not able to get it. Did you have problems when you first tried it, and finally get to work? I connect the airstep to the amp, but that's as far as I get. The app won't connect to the amp when the airstep is connected. I hit retry over and over again. How old is your iPad? I'm thinking that the newer ones aren't capable.

I have an 8th and 9th gen and they both work. My iPhone 13 works also. I always in this order turn on the AIRSTEP, then turn on the amp and wait for them to connect. I then open the app and connect the iPad. Make sure to swipe up and close the app and then reopen it every time when you connect. Just works better that way.

@caseyfisher72 Thanks for replying. I think it might have something to do with the airstep update. I used an android tablet before, and on the instructions for the airstep, there are two sets of instructions, one for android and one for ios. I'm still working on it. Thanks again.

Just as a follow-up, I got it working! I needed to update the Airstep with the correct update using the Airstep Updater app. After trying each update, the V1.3 update was the one that worked. Thanks for your video! It was the big first step I needed.

I can't connect Air step with in ipad connecting to spark.

Make sure to swipe off the app. Then first connect the AIRSTEP and once it’s connected then open the app and connect it. Has to go in that order or it won’t work.
