I am doing a similar problem same setup but one of the cash flows is negative and it keeps giving me an error code could you help out with that?

Is using financial calculator the fastest way ?

Using a financial calculator is faster than doing it without one. Setting it up on a spreadsheet would probably be faster once you have set up the formulas on the spreadsheet. If you have a dedicated computer program or app, that would likely be the fastest. It's best to know more than one way to do it.
