Would I be able to use this to pass through each channel to a separate mixer, and then have the main outs go into an interface for recording? I teach music in a school, and I want to have a direct recording of all our mics and keyboards, but also have the mixer go out to the PA at the same time. What I'm envisioning is all the mics and keyboard going into the Ultralink, with the output on each channel going into our usual mixer, then taking the main out from the Ultralink and sending that into the interface (using two inputs as a stereo channel). Is this doable? Trying to do this on a limited budget.

I am confused about the stereo inputs, How could I use it as a splitter? For example: a: my mono cable to main input LEFT, so I have 6 channel mono outputs b: my mono cable to channel 1 input, so I have 5 channel outputs?

too young to grow old I think you should be able to do this with the Behringer ultralink pro yes

if i use all 8 inputs, and output as 2 channels, can each input be used independently in a software, or will it only read as 2?
