Super helpful. The instructions said "connect hose and accessories" without any explanation of how. Your video was perfect. Many thanks

Thank you for doing this video. The manuals (IMO) for tools today are all but useless. They’re either unclear, incomplete, very poorly laid out….or the writing is beyond microscopic. And, that’s assuming you get a manual at all. I came EXTREMELY close to spending a significant amount of money on a much larger more “industrial” compressor, and a more robust gun, but at $150 on sale….and only using it for one project, I couldn’t turn it down. And, I do like Craftsman as a brand (albeit they’ve sold out quite a bit as of late). But, I digress….thank you again for taking the time. I’m sure this will (and has ) helped a lot of people who aren’t familiar with this kind of equipment.

Thank you so much for this review. I am completely clueless about compressors, but I had to buy one. I bought this. Your review is great. My question is the following: you turn it on, it makes that terrible noise, once the tank is filled up, it automatically turns off. At that point, you turn the regulator to the right, and you should be able to use it. However, do you need to unplug it from the wall once you use it and you are spraying air? Do you need to turn it back on to use it and spray air? That part is what confuses me.
@motube79573 жыл бұрын
While you are using the compressor for nailing, filling up a tire, etc. you would leave it plugged in and turned on. This will allow the the compressor to start back up and replenish the air pressure as it is expelled during operations.

Can a framing nailer be use with this air compressor
@larryburks5923 жыл бұрын

So if I’m filling up my car tire that is 45 psi, do I just adjust the knob until the gauge on the right is at 45 and the compressor will fill my tire not beyond 45 psi?
@narutofanz853 жыл бұрын
Hey, no that's not how it works. The compressor will reach max 45psi, but you need to manually stop filling the air. You'll need to connect a tire pressure gauge to your air pump so you can see how much air you've filled up. Hope this helps.

maaaaaaan, u r hooge. handling this compressor like a tennis ball... real helpful showing where 2 lubricate... where do u buy the oil cheap? machine oil won't work, will it? i guess, it's not the 'nose', it's a trip trigger, no? i mean, sometimes it helps following regular trade terms... even though it's confusing 4 newbies like myself... as soon as i saw the neat corner cut on the sample... the 'filled & finished' nail depression came naturally @ the end... :) u prolly have more tools than just that router table :)

Ok so I have no idea about air compressors so I need to ask a question. Once it’s filled with air do you need to keep it plugged in to use? The reason I ask is I’ll need to use this out in the field & I will not have access to power or a generator. Please advise Thanks

Can you use a kobalt spray gun to paint a garage with the 6gal craftman air compressor
@snoozevmw4 жыл бұрын
I don't know for sure, but the gut instinct tells me that you would burn out the compressor motor with a continuous output and trying to maintain the pressure, it maintains between about 100 and 130, the specifications page for the 6lb pancake show a big NO for paint guns. It looks like most guns take 3 SCFM at around 30 PSI, this is pretty much beyond the specs of this unit. The Graco magnum airless sprayer is great though, I have done fences, pergolas, and rooms with it; about as easy as it gets, much better than anything wagner puts out. The cheapest unit I could find of lowes which specified good for spraying was their 20 lb. vertical tank.
