Can you hook this mixer up to a mpc such as mpc one. I’ve tried to connect the two but it steady says no device found.

It should connect to any DAW automatically if it doesn't maybe go through the mpc settings and see if something needs to be enabled or something also I think the mixer needs to be on the PC setting as well. If it doesn't connect maybe it's not compatible with Mac. Let me know if you have any other questions.

Thanks for posting this. Does it just receive USB audio or does it also send the main mix back into the computer by the same connection. Also, how many aux sends does it have? I'm not too concerned about the returns as I can always sacrifice a channel or two but I want one send for effects and one for a looper

It has a playback button for the mp3 or Bluetooth setting, but in order to record and playback the recording you need a digital audio workstation(daw).

they are actually pretty decent. I got high quality sound from the control room outputs. I hope that answered your question if not let me know and I will do my best to answer it.

The AUX Output on my Dx12 is an extremely weak signal. Is that to be expected, or is my unit defective?

What kind of audio cable were you using? Was it a quarter inch plug or was it a 3.5 mm plug with a quarter inch adapter? Different hook ups cause different outputs. If you were using a quarter inch plug I would try a different plug or a different speaker. If it is still a weak signal maybe the Aux output is the issue itself. Let me know if this helped or if you need anymore help.

@@TheMusicChanneljakerocks I is a 1/4" plug. I used the same connector with a different mixer Aux out and it worked fine. I thought perhaps I was not using the unit properly as I have not had the need for Aux out before.

Could I use this to record multiple tracks simultaneously cause if like to record my band live for example drums guitar and bass all at once on separate tracks is it possible?

There are no direct outputs on it so it only records the mix.

if you connect it to a powered speaker then no power amp is necessary.

It's actually a really good mixer. You can get a lot of use out of it. You can pair your phone via Bluetooth, you can hook it up to a PC to record music. The only thing is it doesn't have a lot of built in FX, but other than that it's a pretty cool mixer.

you can record audio through USB it should automatically connect to your PC. If not make sure the PC setting is on, on the mixer

I don't have a Mac, but when you plug it in via male to male USB cable it should connect automatically. If it doesn't connect automatically go into your settings and make sure it's on the list of auto devices and make sure that's the one selected. If you need anymore help just let me know.

I believe it has to be plugged in via USB to a computer to record. that's the only way I've used it to record.

Press your menu button then press the down button until you get to system settings then press enter. Language is the 3rd option after you hit enter for system settings. Once you get into Language settings then English is the 2nd option. Hit enter and it should be back to normal. Hope this helps.

How do I turn off the mp3 players repeat. The problem I'm having is that I'm using this mixer as my main mixer for live shows and when I'm having a rapper perform their track automatically goes to the next one or it loops the same track. is there a way to make a song stop after it plays until I give it the next direction?

Learned that the hard way. Moved to a Mackie 1604-vlz 16 channel with a FocusRite Scarlite 8i63rd. Hard to learn gear on my own and tried to cheap on costs to get started.

I'd like to ask if there is a drummer here who has had experience with this mixer using it to mic a whole drum set, for example in a context for a small or medium live gig. if yes, is this mixer also good for this purpose? If so, aan anyone tell me if you used it for example also in rehearsal room to mic an entire band performance? is it also possible to connect it directly to the pc to record on multitack on audacity e.g.

It will not allow you to record as a multi tracking controller. (But you "can" record all 16 channels ONE AT A TIME.) If you need to record all 16 tracks simultaneously, you can simply set your levels, set your mix, effects etc, then send L/R channels to the computer via the main mix. Im not sure if the usb is "input only" or "in/out".... If it wont send via usb, you can still send the L/R main mix to an interface. You will not be able to make any changes after the recording like you would with a multitrack recorder

Thanks for tutorial, you did a great job going through all the functions....I was thinking of buying the 16 Channel unit as a drum set mixer for outdoor shows/larger clubs...but couldn't find anything in the way of literature on this Mixer...your video was a great help...I don't really need the effects or blue tooth and didn't want to spend a ton of money on a mixer I would only use a handful of times a year. I play a 14 piece Tama kit and need all 16 XLR inputs for the drums and overheads. This unit would not break the bank and I would finally get to put all my drum mics to good use ;-)
