Great video! Just wanted to know if you did a surface wash after you finished spraying it down with pre -treatment or did the spray itself clean the driveway? I'm wondering how to charge clients based on that. Thanks!
@powerwashingprosinc.lawren9223 жыл бұрын
Sometimes especially if it’s more of a flat concrete and the algae isn’t to dark I will pre treat with the solution wait ten minutes and then wash it down with the ball valve or wand. If it’s a pee pebble or aggregate driveway which is more porous I’ll put a little bit stronger solution on there and still will be able to just wash it down or sometimes surface clean over it depending on how it’s coming up. As far as pricing depending on the area you’re in you can charge anywhere from 20 cent on up to 30 cent square feet for concrete cleaning for most residential driveways. It always helps to have a wheel measure if you want to do in person estimates for Driveway Cleaning measure the length by the width and also to include the sidewalk if it’s attached to get your square footage for pricing.

Had a question, if you needed stronger chems to hit the surface, couldnt you have down streamed straight chemical instead of cutting it 50/50? Amd instead of “upstreaming” just kept the downstream where it was at? Not being a smartass or jerk im legit curious for my own learning

I wonder if putting it after the gun, like a real x jet would be better. Did you take out the guts or is the injector still usable a downstream injector?

You are correct! My Honda 3100psi 2.5gpm weak machine only downstream with a 50' of pressure hose. I tested the downstream injector attached to the gun and it worked perfect. Why is 2.5gpm machine only downstream up to 50'? So a 4gpmwill only downstream less than 100' of hose?

Can you explain how moving the downstream further downstream increases the draw? I understood the principles of operation as the pressure differential between the pump output and the downstream end of the tip, which should mean it doesnt matter where along the pressure hose the downstream injector is. I was wondering where you're getting the 3:1 number from?
@powerwashingprosinc.lawren9224 жыл бұрын
Geoffrey Robertson I just know through experience by moving the injector closer to the gun its a stronger draw on chemicals, the further you move it away the less draw

The draw will not be stronger, the mix will be less diluted and have to travel a shorter distance to be dispersed.
@scottjamable Жыл бұрын
@@christopherpaige406 like you said the draw will not be stronger but the pressure and water flow in the hose hasn't changed either. so I would think the injection point wouldn't matter that much so the mix would be the about the same.?

The truth in love. The Most High does not get the glory if you profane, ignore , work on the 7 the day. (The real Sabbath). Also, working on the day you "think" is the Sabbath is a bit hypocritical . Christians have a huge surprise coming to them unless they humble themselves and seek the True Messiah and the Most High Creator.. Their Way. Be humble and look into it. Or mock me. Up to you.

This is rxactly what I just suggested to an employee with my thoughts on it. I find the downstream injectors quit working after one job always. So I though this could be more efficient and less damaging having the Chem right at you on your back. Flush line when jobs done or chemo done
And I thought I was a genius when I did that... 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
@mr.skeptical30714 жыл бұрын
I don't see how it's any different where u place it, it's still only gonna draw but so much. Best thing is a pump sprayer. Put it on 100%!

I don’t comment on videos much because you know what they say about opinions but as a 20 year veteran cleaner that does over 2.5 million a year I have to correct a few things you have said since you seem to be educating others… 1. The term downstream is used when injecting chemicals or soap after the pump… you claimed the DS injector before the gun was upstream… that is an incorrect term… upstream would be injecting chemicals before the pump. 2. You said you were getting a 3-3.5% ratio from a 50/50 mix using a DS injector…. Even w a small 4 gpm machine and a 1.5 orafice and straight SH you would not be drawing that rate… other than that keep up the hustle… make that paper
