Please correct me if I'm wrong. My reasoning behind why that coil has a lower current ramp is that it is shorted internally so its internal resistance is so low the current has no time to build up to the level of the others. One might think a shorted coil will have a higher peak current than normal since the resistance is lower, but I think the critical thing is the charging (dwell) time of the coil. Just thinking out loud. Thanks in advance.
