Hi! You need to call Lexus first so that they can verify you are the owner. It’s a process that’s for anti theft. You can’t add a random car to your app if you’re not the owner. Imagine being able to steal a car through this app. They will ask for a bill of sale with your name and photo ID. If you don’t have a bill of sale, you can send a title registration with your name that shows the car info with VIN. Hope this helps.

After you remote start your suv when you go to open the door does the car stay on or shuts off? On previous remote start via the key fob Lexus the car would shut off when you open the door ..there was no take over mode to keep the car running so you can just get in and drive at least on my 2017 IS350. Advice?

When you remote start any car, it would run the AC/HEAT ON 72°F for temperature. No need to do anything special.

When you auto start a Lexus does it do the same annoying thing Toyotas do where it shuts the engine off when you open the car door then you have to turn it back on again when you get inside. Also pairs with my phone after it's auto started even though I'm still in the house. Both super annoying & my Ford Mustang doesn't do either of those issues.

On my previous American cars (Chevrolet/ GMC ) the remote start feature was free. The equipment to remote start your Lexus is already built-in and included in the vehicle’s price but Lexus makes you pay to use it. Another example of Lexus’s attempt to nickel and dime us to death…No on my Watch😑
