Using the Mod Manager

Everything except a few work for me as far as the mod menu goes. Clothes and other separate mods work fine. In the mod menu stuff like the check box mods and teleport do not work for some reason. Anyone know the fix?

Dude like 3/4 of the mods I download from nexus don't even show up as available to install. There's also no way to point the manager to state of decay. Do you have a tutorial that makes sense of how to get this to work? Click on search mods. Hit search and the manager crashes. Awesome work dude.

Can you integrate Loot into your manager so fix load orders and mod cleaning? I had 18 mods installed, feather falling wasn't working so I messed with the order then any time I opened my base menu, my game would freeze and crash. Loot is very helpful in Mod Organizer and would defiantly fix any order issues. Edit: Realized Loot isn't open source but maybe something could be integrated that is similar? Either way, great program and thank you for your work.

sadly i can confirm this partially what i mean is download acouple of mods to try it out 999 mods worked but 100 vehicle i couldnt get to work keep in mind im still much very very new to modding itself so it could also be user error

-Steam SOD2 Latest Update -Started this MOD MANAGER with Administer privileges -I have Mod Integration pak -I have your mod "The Aegis Follower mod pak" I start the game , after 2 seconds of black screen, game crashes to desktop with no error. I have tried one mod each time, still crashes if I have "Mod Integration Pak". Other times ,I can play the game without any problem if mods do NOT require Integration...

Late here, but.. what exactly does the integration do? I mean, if it's building a 'master' mod of all those included, it would reason that you could actually then remove any other mods from the list, once you have the "integration mod' of them all, built? Or... does it just take any conflicts, merge THOSE specific files such that they no longer conflict, and then drops that as an overriding mod at the top of the load order?

It merges specific conflicts, like adding new items from different mods into to the master list of items that the game has

I don't see what's so useful about this video, it doesn't make any sense, it goes too fast, of course, the guy knows what he's doing, but for the noobs, how do you do it? I didn't understand anything about manipulating the files, vortex and NMM are so simple, but this is complete nonsense, by the way, I downloaded them manually, and it works too, so!

Because for some, it just doesn't work. I've been trying for two days to get it to do anything but present me with a blank screen. I tried it from the desktop, I tried it from the game folder, I tried clicking "add mods" and adding a downloaded archive, nothing happened. I tried dragging the .7z file into the mod manager window, nothing happened. I tried running the mod manager as administrator, nothing happened.

Don't try to add .rar files. There is no error message, it just won't do anything. It worked once I converted my Pak mods to .zip files

I have one idea, go to steam or Microsoft store and search for state of decay 2, then you click where says "buy" download and play, problem solved 😉 😀

Well, I tried using this, and no mods download to it, I made sure all the mods were the up to date versions. Tried all versions as .zips rars 7z or wtf it was called, and nothing would open to the mod manager. You sir are a lazy explainer for people who arent tech gods. For shame.

Had some problems with this. Though I followed instructions, the mods weren't being applied to the game. After looking further, I noticed that the folder on Appdata > Local was labeled SoD2 and another folder labeled StateofDecay2, so I merged both folders into SoD2 since that was the directory being used by the game. (Edit: Okay, maybe it's the other way around, but try anyway [be sure to save a copy of the original folders, just incase.]) After merging the two folders, the mods appear to have worked, but I don't know the long term impact of this.
