Using the most expensive leather from Hermès to make a bag

I make quite a few bags in the Hermes style for family and friends and think I’ve got some good experience in making small leather goods. This maker, I would suggest, does not have English as their first language and, therefore, am quite prepared to forgive the error in the title. I think any reasonable person would accept that the meaning was leather as used by Hermes. It’s my understanding that Hermes do use very high grade calf leather but that is not too hard to source here in Europe. The workmanship is fine. Having watched a video of bags being made at/for the most prestigious labels, I would suggest that it is no higher workmanship than in this video. If anyone believes they regularly achieve better, then please point me to their Instagram or YT channel. Love to see someone put their money where their mouth is
